The Revised ISO Standard – ISO 13131:2021 Health informatics — Telehealth services — Quality planning guidelines has now recently been published. This replaces the 2014 standard.
The key changes to note are:
- Review of content through 3 international ballots
- Approval by 19 out of 23 international standards bodies
- Update to align with recent versions of ISO standards
- Re-organisation of material
- Addition of use cases
- Addition of reference to Plan do Act cycle in risk management
- Conversion of ISO TS 13131:2014 to a full international standard ISO 13131
