SUMMARY:HISA breakfast invitation: A new era in healthcare - opportunities fuelled by healthcare digital innovation
DESCRIPTION:HISA in partnership with Microsoft invites you to attend a breakfast presentation and networking opportunity. Registration is complimentary for both HISA members and non-members. \n As medical technologies advance and pressures on health systems continue\, more and more health providers are looking to the use of digital technologies to support our health systems globally. \nBringing insights into how technology is enabling healthcare to transform and adapt to these challenges and opportunities\, we welcome back Dr Simon Kos\, an Australian medical doctor and now Microsoft’s global Chief Medical Officer based in the US. Simon will discuss emerging trends and key observations on medical and health innovation with a focus on the use of technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI)\, chat and medical internet of things (IoT). \n We will highlight and examine a shining light in Australian digital health innovation in DoseMe\, a decision support platform that leverages clinically validated pharmacokinetic drug models\, patient characteristics\, drug concentrations and genotype to guide dose optimisation. Charles Cornish\, CEO\, will talk about how DoseMe is making complex prescribing safer\, how they are working with informatics and new technologies such as SMART on FHIR and their journey to become a highly successful global digital health company. \n Lastly we will hear from Dani Arousi\, Senior Executive of Healthcare Innovation & Strategy\, Allscripts\, describing their approach to reducing adverse health outcomes with their interoperability platform\, dbMotion\, and how a primary health network is leading change in New South Wales. \nFor more details please visit HISA Melbourne breakfast invitation.
